Edición especial escrita por Tommy Muriel para Hablando En Clave®.Este concierto que les comparto en su totalidad se efectuó el domingo 14 de agosto de 1977 en el antiguo Salón Maxims, hoy día La Maraka en Ciudad México. live 77Si bien la historia de la música tropical en México bajo el nombre colectivo de Salsa se remonta a 1972 con el programa radial Festival Latino, la escena tropical en sí ya tenía raíces fuertes en suelo mexicano desde tan temprano como finales de los 40’s. Entonces México era la meca del cine latinoamericano y artistas como Pérez Prado, Miguelito Valdés, Daniel Santos, Beny Moré y la ya internacional Sonora Matancera plantaban bandera en esos lares, ésta última incluso haciendo de México su sede oficial tras dejar atrás la hermana isla ante el cambio de mando en 1959. El puerto de Veracruz en específico fue no solo puerta de entrada para el danzón, mambo, cha-cha-chá, bolero y son en suelo azteca, sino también puerta de entrada para muchos cubanos que llegaron a esos lares huyendo del inminente régimen e hicieron de ella su segundo hogar. (Y por supuesto, en esta trama no podemos dejar fuera a baluartes del propio México como el legendario dúo Lobo y Melón, conformado por el percusionista Carlos Daniel “Lobo” Navarro y el inmortal marqués del swing y la llave Luis Ángel “Melón” Silva (fallecido en agosto 2016), quienes patentaron en esos lares el doo-wop en clave afrocubana (o el “shua-shua,” a lo criollo) que ya en suelo cubano se gastaba Francisco Fellove. Vital records: diacritical marks.Existing law prescribes the duties of the State Registrar of Vital Statistics (State Registrar) and local registrars of births and deaths with respect to the registration of certificates of live birth, fetal death, or death, and marriage licenses. Existing live 77 law requires the State Registrar to prescribe and furnish all record forms for use in carrying out the provisions governing vital records and prohibits the use of any record form or format other than those prescribed by the State Registrar. Existing law requires every live birth, fetal death, death, and marriage that occurs in the state to be registered with the local registrar. Existing law requires certificates of live birth, fetal death, or death, and a marriage license to include specified information, such as the full name of the child on a certificate of live birth and the full names of the parties to be married on a marriage license.This bill would require the State Registrar to require the use of a diacritical mark on an English letter to be properly recorded, when applicable, on a certificate of live birth, fetal death, or death, and a marriage license and would require the use of a diacritical mark to be deemed an acceptable entry by the State Registrar. The bill would provide that the absence of a diacritical mark on a certificate of live birth, fetal death, or death, or a marriage license does not render the document invalid nor affect any constructive notice imparted by proper recordation of the document. The bill would authorize, if a name is not accurately recorded because of the absence of a diacritical mark on an English letter in any certificate of live birth, fetal death, death, or marriage already registered, the person asserting the omission, or the person’s conservator, or if a minor, the person’s parent or guardian, to submit a ……
